What to Do This Fall Break in Rockwall

Looking for things to do on fall break? For most families, the week off school looks the same: restless kids climbing the walls by Tuesday and the familiar temptation to drive 45 minutes into Dallas just to find something to do.

Skip the drive. Everything you need for a full fall break day is right here at Shenaniganz Rockwall, from go-karts and laser tag to mini golf and bowling. One stop for every age, no highway required.

At a Glance

  • Fall break in Rockwall has a one-stop answer: Shenaniganz covers every age under one roof.
  • Go-karts, laser tag, and mini golf bring in teens and adults, while Kid Zone and the arcade keep younger kids happy.
  • The Fall Break Play Pass runs weekdays from October 8 to 16, starting at $9.99 per person.

One Stop, Every Age

Fall break works better when every kid in the family has something to look forward to, and so do the adults. We’ve got the whole crew covered.

From Toddlers to Teens (and the Adults Who Drive Them)

Here’s how fall break plays out at Shenaniganz, depending on who’s in your crew:

  • Little kids: Kid Zone is built for them, a dedicated play area where they can run it out while everyone else does their thing. The arcade games are a natural add-on, with the universal appeal of winning tickets.
  • Tweens and teens: This is where it gets good. Laser tag, Quantum Go-Karts, and escape rooms are all here, the kind of fall break activities for kids worth getting out of bed for.
  • Adults: You get a turn too. Hop on the go-kart track, play a round of mini golf, grab a bite at Rozie’s Sports Bar & Grill, or settle into Z Lounge.

Open Late: Make It a Real Fall Break Day

We’re open until 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until midnight Friday and Saturday. That means no rushing out at dinnertime. Rozie’s is right here on-site, so when everyone gets hungry, you can move from the track to the table and keep the day going.

What’s Waiting for You Inside

Here’s a look at the full lineup, because fall break is the perfect excuse to try the things you’ve been putting off.

High-Speed Action: Go-Karts and Laser Tag

If you’ve got competitive kids (or competitive adults), start here.

Our Quantum Go-Karts put a video game twist on racing. You drive a single-rider electric kart on a multi-level track while projected obstacles and virtual power-ups light up the course around you. Drivers need to be 10 or older and at least 48 inches tall.

Laser tag is the other high-energy anchor. Our glow-in-the-dark arena is themed after the ruins of Angkor Wat and fits up to 30 players, so siblings vs. parents or a full-family free-for-all both work. These are two of the most fun things to do on fall break, and they’re both under one roof.

Friendly Competition: Bowling, Mini Golf, and the Arcade

Not every moment of fall break needs to be full-throttle. Our bowling lanes dial back the energy without losing the fun, featuring bumper lanes, lightweight balls for younger players, and room for up to 8 people per lane.

Then there’s Lone Star Mini Golf: nine indoor holes built around Texas landmarks like Big Tex and the Alamo. It’s an easy round for every age and skill level.

Finish in the arcade, where more than 70 games let everyone play something different at once.

Escape Rooms: The Family Challenge

Finding things to do on fall break with kids doesn’t get much better than this: everyone in one room, 60 minutes on the clock, and a mystery to solve together. Our escape rooms fit teams of two to eight, so they work for sibling teams trying to outdo each other and for the whole family working together.

Kid Zone: Built for the Little Ones

If your fall break crew includes kids on the younger side, Kid Zone is the spot. It’s built for kids up to 52 inches tall and includes:

  • A 3-story jungle gym
  • A color-reactive light floor
  • A giant 24-foot chicken bounce house

The best part for parents: while your youngest plays, older kids can hit the go-kart track or the laser tag arena, all in the same building.
