Fun Things to do for Saint Patrick’s Day at Home

Maybe you’re feeling like a bit of a homebody this Saint Patrick’s Day. Which is ok because we even found some fun things for you to do at home! If your kids aren’t old enough for Saint Patrick’s Day parades and festivals you can keep them occupied making a pot of gold rainbow slime! This pot of gold rainbow slime recipe is one of our favorites as it is fun and easy to make! All you need are some black cauldron snack cups, all-purpose school glue (we prefer Elmers), water, Borax, and some red, yellow, green, and blue food coloring.

To start add 1/4 cup of water to two bowls. In one bowl add a teaspoon of Borax and mix well until the Borax dissolves. In the other bowl, add 1/4 cup of all-purpose school glue and a few drops of one color. You’ll slowly mix the bowl of water and Borax into the bowl with water and glue. Mix the two together slowly until it makes a nice slimy consistency. Repeat for all the other colors you want for your rainbow. When finished, simply add all your colors in segments to your cauldron, and voilà your magical pot of gold rainbow slime is made!
